Managing IBS pain, bloating, constipation and diarrhoea doesn’t have to be complicated. Getting your symptoms under control doesn’t have to mean cutting out foods or spending hundreds on supplements. I’m Crystal Austin – fellow IBS-sufferer, food lover and dietitian (with a specialisation in IBS). 10 years of living with IBS coupled with a lot of study led me to create The IBS Accelerator, a comprehensive coaching program designed to help you get IBS relief without food restriction.
When searching for IBS support, many feel overwhelmed by the amount of information online about food and end up boiling their meals down to plain chicken and unseasoned vegetables… That’s bland, boring and let’s be honest: unsustainable. By addressing your symptoms at the root cause and structured food challenges, you’ll uncover if food is actually even a problem for you (hint: for most people it's not) and walk away with a clear understanding of your personal triggers.
Phase 4 is where we’ll keep the good times rolling (or so to speak!). Bringing all the phases together, we’ll continue to expand your diet and introduce new foods while giving you the confidence and clarity to truly live your life beyond the program. No crazy restrictions, fad probiotics or stress-induced flares – just you, a predictable pooping routine and total self-assurance in successful IBS management.
Phase 1 focuses on fuelling your body and filling your plate. Instead of eliminating foods or cutting out whole food groups, you’ll learn how to work with your natural digestion. Avoiding foods unnecessarily does more harm than good, so by aiding your digestion’s job of breaking down food, absorbing nutrients and getting rid of waste – you’ll reduce IBS symptoms like bloating, diarrhoea, constipation and gas.
Holistic irritable bowel syndrome support means going beyond dietary changes. Long-term symptom management that takes into account stress and lifestyle elements can actually improve your tolerance to foods! In phase 2, the focus is on improving how your body responds to stress to reduce flare ups and help long-term relief.
